“I can tell you that I am not surprised by the allegations,” veteran journalist admitted. “But I can say that — because you are asking me a very direct question — I can say that I would be surprised if many women did not understand that there was a climate of verbal harassment that existed. I would be surprised if someone said that they didn’t see that. So, it was verbal sexual harassment.”

Curry, 61, left Today in 2012 amidst rumors that Lauer wanted her gone. She has consistently declined to speak on that matter.

Aziz Ansari Responds to Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Aziz Ansari is the latest Hollywood actor to be accused of sexual misconduct, an allegation to which the Master Of None star has already responded publicly.

“In September of last year, I met a woman at a party… We went out to dinner, and afterwards we ended up engaging in sexual activity, which by all indications was completely consensual,” Ansari said. “The next day, I got a text from her saying that although ‘it may have seemed OK,’ upon further reflection, she felt uncomfortable. It was true that everything did seem OK to me, so when I heard that it was not the case for her, I was surprised and concerned.”

The alleged victim is an anonymous Brooklyn photographer who says Ansari pressured her into forcible sexual activity while on a date. The actor has reached out to her personally to apologize.
