Kerry Washington ‘Went Into the Wilderness’ to Rid Her Life of Toxicity Before ‘Scandal’

During a May 15 SuperSoul Session with Oprah Winfrey, Kerry Washington opened up about the toxicity in her life prior to getting the role of Olivia Pope on the wildly popular drama Scandal.

“There was a lot of toxicity in my life, people I needed to let go of in a personal way, in a business way,” Washington told Winfrey. “There was a period before Scandal when I went into the wilderness… I took a break and did a Broadway play. I went back to my roots as an artist.”

Washington, who is married to former NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha and expecting her second child, said she is much more content with her life today.

Kelly Osbourne Shares Phone Number of Ozzy’s Mistress on Twitter

Kelly Osbourne cemented her status as Team Sharon on May 23 by tweeting out the telephone number of dad Ozzy’s supposed mistress, hairstylist Michelle Pugh.

“Anyone looking for cheap chunky LOW-lights a blow out and a b–wjob call …,” wrote Kelly, along with an L.A.-based phone number.

As sources previously reported, it was Kelly who helped her mother search Ozzy’s e-mail to uncover the affair. The mother-daughter pair then spent weeks calling the salon where Pugh worked, until she was eventually fired.

Sharon and Ozzy were married for nearly 34 years before Sharon discovered the alleged indiscretion and kicked him out.

Bridget Marquardt Isn’t Taking Sides in Holly and Kendra’s Ugly Feud

As the Girls Next Door feud between Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson rages on, Bridget Marquardt is trying to remain neutral. In a recent appearance on Hollywood Today Live, she addressed Madison’s new Playboy Mansion tell-all book, as well as Wilkinson’s claims that it contains untruths.

“This is what I told Kendra, ‘She’s writing about her experience and this is how she’s reflecting on it and she has a right to do that,’” Marquardt, 42, said. “’And you have a right not to agree with her, but lashing out like this and saying such vile things and stuff isn’t really the way to handle it either.'”

Prince’s Closest Friends Knew About His Painkiller Addiction

Since Prince was found dead in his home on April 21, speculation has been rife that an overdose of painkillers was to blame. Now, longtime friends of the iconic artist have come forward to shed light on his decade-long addiction.

Musical collaborator Sky Dangcil told Us Weekly that it all began with a hip strain that led to years upon years of chronic hip pain. “[He] took the pills to keep the show going.”

Indeed, the Purple Rain singer had a full hip replacement in 2012, though it was not a cure-all. “He was always in a lot of pain,” says hairstylist Kim Berry, who worked with Prince for years. Berry believes the addiction is indicative of Prince’s 24-7 commitment to his music and his fans.
